    Aditi Shankardass is the Director of Neurophysiology is one of the world’s foremost researchers of dyslexia and neurological disorders. Dr. Aditi Shankardass and her research team at Harvard are using a path-breaking brain imaging technology developed by Harvard University Children’s Hospital in Boston. By using electroencephalography (EEG) technology to study the human brain, the team has been watching brains, of children with disabilities, as it performs functions including visual, auditory, attention and language processing. Shankardass explains how this EEG remarkable device has revealed mistaken diagnoses and transformed children's lives. By watching the child’s brain as it performs functions including visual, auditory, attention and language processing, they are able to detect even the slightest abnormalities to provide the most accurate diagnosis.Shankardass suggest that developmental disorders in children are typically diagnosed by observing behavior.
